Delete your QuizYou account and data
Would you like to have your QuizYou account (formerly Quizett) and the associated data deleted? This page explains what we delete, what remains anonymised and how to submit the request.

What we delete on request
- your QuizYou account (Firebase sign-in, anonymous or permanent user ID)
- your profile (display name, avatar)
- your game history and statistics
- your online multiplayer sessions and related data
- cache and local app data linked to your account
What remains – and why
- Anonymised usage statistics (Firebase Analytics): no longer attributable to you after deletion. Reason: aggregated statistics to improve the app.
- Anonymised crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): without any personal reference after deletion. Reason: error analysis and stability.
After deletion, this data can no longer be linked to your account and is only processed in anonymised, aggregated form.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to support@gurusense.de with the subject “Delete account – QuizYou”.
- Include the email address of the Google or Apple account you used to sign in to QuizYou – or, if you played without signing in, your player name and the approximate date of your last game.
- We delete your data and confirm the deletion by email.
Processing time
We process deletion requests within 7 days of receipt. If it takes longer in an individual case, we'll contact you proactively.
